Selvaraghavan to direct Aayirathil oruvan Sequel

 

Selvaraghavan, who is busy with Mayakkam Enna release announced about his next venture after Mayakkam Enna . Selvaraghavan has come up with the script for the sequel of Aayirathil Oruvan which had Karthi , Reema Sen and Andrea in the lead roles. The first part had Karthi travelling with the child from the dynasty and the movie ended there . The sequel is touted to start from there that will have lot of adventures and fantasy elements involved with the script .It is still not clear whether the casts will be retained from the first part.Official announcement from the team is expected after the release of Mayakkam Enna.Its double bonanza for Selvaraghavan fans.

A.R.Murugadoss and Ilayathalapathy Vijay who clashed together for this diwali is now joining hands for a new venture that will be produced by Vijay's father S.A.Chandrasekar. It is earlier reported that Kingfisher model Angela Johnson,will be the female lead but because of some issues A.R.Murugadoss has opted for Priya Anand who sizzled in 180 . Nayan’s ‘last film’ in Tamil?

 

'Sri Rama Rajyam', the Tollywood film which is touted as the last for Nayantara, as she is set to marry her boyfriend Prabhudeva soon, will speak in Tamil too. The Balakrishna-starrer is being dubbed and released in Tamil Nadu under the same title.

While Balakrishna has played the role of Lord Rama, Nayantara has played Goddess Seetha. Veterans Nageswara Rao, K R Vijaya, Brahmanandam, Jayasudha and Roja have performed crucial roles in this film which has music by maestro Ilayaraja.

Directed by Bapu, 'Sri Rama Rajyam' is produced by Kiran under the Future Films banner. Veteran lyricist Piraisoodan will take care of dialogues and lyrics for the Tamil version, which is expected to release simultaneously along with the Telugu original.

"Both Balakrishna and Nayantara followed rigorous strict vegetarian diet and other rituals while working for the movie, as they had played powerful roles of Rama and Seetha. The film's audio was released recently and songs by Ilayaraja became instant hits in Andhra Pradesh," sources say.

Poorna finds it tough with Parthipan?

 

Poorna, who has completed shooting with R Parthipan for 'Vithagan', says sharing the screen space with a director like him was a tough task, since Parthipan knows the in and out of cinema. "Acting like him was like playing a sport with the coach," she says.

"Parthipan spots even minor mistakes within no time. So I was afraid to act with him. I guess I had performed well in scenes which did not require his presence in front of the camera," says the 'Vellore Mavattam' actress.

Giving details on her character in the movie, she says, "I play a Christian girl, who happens to be the only witness for all the acts of Parthipan, who plays a police officer. It is a racy script and I play a meaty role."

Produced by Manicam Narayanan on Seventh Channel Communications banner, 'Vithagan' is getting ready to hit the screens come Friday. Music for the movie is by Joshua Sridhar, who hogged the limelight with songs in 'Kadhal'.
