The 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) Goa, 2011, is all set to kickstart today (November 23) evening.
Bollywoodstar Shah Rukh Khan will be the chief guest at the event, while our own Suriya will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony on December 3.
It is a major recognition for Suriya. He has been invited to be the chief guestat the closing ceremony, of one of the world's most prestigious film festivals hosted by Government of India.
Linguswamy's Vettai which has Arya, Madhavan,Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles is nearing completion with just two shongs yet to be canned .The songs will be shot in exotic locations in Dubai and Rajamundry. The team is gearing for audio which will be released sometime during December.The album will have five songs that will explore great compositions of Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie is expected to hit the screens ahead of pongal. Vettai is a joint venture of UTV Motion Pictures and Linguswamy's Thirupathi Brothers.
