Nakul prepares for his next

Nakul, the Boyz discovery has been in hiatus for a long time now, awaiting good scripts to come his way, despite a good start in filmdom.

Now it seems that he will be doing a film for Vetrimaran's assistant Prithvi Rajkumar for which Vetri will be writing the dialogues.

Newbie Avani Modi is the heroine along with Chandini who was last seen with Shanthanoo. Nakul is also working in Vallinam directed by Arivazhagan.

Nakul, who has had a couple of successes under his belt, has been finding it difficult to make his presence count in the field. The young chap is obviously desperate to prove a point and regain his market and so he is banking on Prithvi's film a lot.

Let's hope this run of good luck works in Nakul's favour in the new year.

Want to know the secret behind Sonia’s soft, silky hair?

Actress Sonia Aggarwal is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Oru Nadigaiyin Vakkumoolam (ONV) directed by Raj Krishna. The film has Sonia playing the sole heroine and in the title role of that of an actress. As the title amply suggests, the film chronicles the many type of struggles an actress has to undergo on her way to achieving stardom and to sustain the same over a period of time.

After seeking divorce from director Selvaraghavan, the industry almost wrote off Sonia as an actress. The trend in the industry is that actresses attempting a comeback after (broken) marriage are usually offered only 'sister' and 'sister-in-law' roles and not that of lead roles. Sonia, though, started her second innings well with a small yet powerful role opposite Prakashraj in Vaanam which was a box-office success.

If ONV hits the bull's eye at the box-office, Sonia's success story could become a trend-setter or sorts. That she has already started a trend is an altogether mater; the trend is about how she maintains her hair which appears ever so soft and silky. It turns out that the actress uses beer to wash her hair as a result of which her hair shines like black gold.

Sonia asserts that beer makes the hair softer and stronger. The news of 'beer care for hair' has spread in Kollywood like a wildfire; now we have many actresses attempting the same with their hairs. The list includes Tamannaah, Tapasee Pannua, Anuskha, etc. Sonia's secret recently came to light when cans of beer were brought to the place where the film was being shot and taken to where Sonia was staying.

Queries revealed that the actress used it not for drinking but to take care of her hair.
