Rana opts out of Vada Chennai?

Rumours are rife that Rana Daggubati has walked out of Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai, which has Silambarasan aka STR in the lead.

It may be noted that a workshop was recently held by the director which Rana attended while STR is still away in the US on holiday.

It was there that trouble supposedly began. Apparently, though Rana was very impressed by the script when he heard the one liner, he later felt that his role was not as intense as STR's who may walk away with the accolades.

In addition, Rana could not give the bulk dates required by the director, who has not been able to confirm when STR is back to start the film. Apparently, Vetrimaaran is playing his cards close to his heart and has refrained from commenting on the issue when We contacted him.

Says Vetri: "I don't wish to comment on it right now. Rana is travelling and I can confirm or deny the news only after we sit and sort out issues".

A.R.Rahman bags one more
