Prasanna’s Valentines Day gift to Sneha

 

Prasanna and Sneha's love affair and their impending marriage are the talk of the town. The actor was recently questioned about their plans for the Valentines' Day. To this, Prasanna had said that Sneha needs to be on the sets of a film in which she is playing lead role; therefore, he had gifted a watch to her much before.

The actor added that the wedding venue and other details are being worked out by both their families. Once everything is fixed, the official announcement will be mad, he said.

Deepika Padukone gets tanned skin for Rajinikanth

 

Actress Deepika Padukone seems to do anything for superstar Rajinikanth's latest Tamil flick Kochadaiyaan. A glamorous and fair Deepika is all set to turn darker for the movie.

Sources informed a leading daily that Deepika's complexion is many shades lighter than Rajinikanth's. Hence when Deepika was suggested to have some darker modifications on her skin tone, she agreed to it.

Reports suggest that Deepika has a crucial role to play in the film. Surprisingly Dippy is willing to do whatever required for the film, keeping aside all the starry tantrums. The buzz was rife that the actress left Ramesh Taurani's Race 2 to sign a movie with her dream superstar Rajinikanth.

Vijay’s grandmother passes away

 

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Grandmother and singer Lalitha Neelakandan passed away on Tuesday (Feb 14).

She was 80 and following a cardiac attack , she passed away at a private hospital in Vadapalani.

Many films were made under the banner of Lalitanjali, and she was also a Carnatic singer.

Lalitha Neelakandan is survived by two daughters Shobha Chandrasekhar(Vijay's mother), Sheela (Vikranth's mother) and two sons SN Surender and SN Sundar.

Her son-in-law and Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar is Tamil Film Producers Council president.

Vijay was extremely close to his grandmother and used to spend time with her regularly. Lalitha Neelakandan's last rites were carried out at St Theresa's church and later buried at Kilpauk cemetery onThursday evening

Sneha gets paid for the wedding!

 

Sneha's smile and geniality has earned her a new job. The actress has got an unusual request from her friend's family. She has been asked to welcome guests at the wedding that is to take place in her friend's family.

The actress is known for her trademark smile and this has earned her the opportunity. Though Sneha has not demanded a pay for this, the friends are not going to let her go empty handed. She will be offered an undisclosed sum just to welcome guests with her beaming smile!

Prabhu Deva prays at Srikalahasti

 

Prabhu Deva who completed the climax shoot of Akshay starrer Rowdy Rathore, went straight to pray at the temple of Lord Vayulingeshwara at Srikalahasti with his close friends.

His visit assumes significance in the wake of widespread reports that his relationship with Nayanthara was all over and the couple decided to split.

Prabhu Deva performed the Rahu-Ketu puja at the temple, probably to invoke blessings to reverse his sagging romantic fortunes. Later, he did Annadanam (poor feeding). The actor-director however refused to speak about his personal life as usual to the large contingent of media present at the temple.

Prabhu's special appearance in good friend Prakash Raj's Dhoni is getting rave reviews and he will be starting work on Remo directed film in which he playing hero.

His hands are full with a music album in the pipeline, Rowdy Rathore in its final stages and another film which he will be directing in south with a top hero.

Dhanush learns to master Hindi for Raanjhnaa

 

Dhanush (Pic: Dhanush in Benares) is currently trying to learn Hindi for his first Hindi film Raanjhnaa with Tanu Weds Manu fame director Aanand L Rai.

The actor, who recently won the National Film Award for his role in Aadukalam, became a household name thanks to Kolaveri Di from his Tamil film 3, which went viral online.

Says Dhanush: " I must have heard atleast 10 scripts in the last six months before signing on the dotted line for Raanjhnaa. It is the simple story with a vulnerable, ordinary, boy-next-door guy image of the hero, which is tailor-made for me that attracted me to do the film".

Raanjhnaa is an intense love story and the heroine is not yet fixed. Dhanush being a perfectionist is now on a mission to learn to speak Hindi fluently which he says will be accomplished before the shoot starts in March.

Then it is Sneha and Prasanna the young love birds who who are planning to tie their knot will celebrate a special Valentines day this year.
