Aishwarya Dhanush's much awaited directorial debut 3, starring her husband Dhanush and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, will grace theatres on April 12, 2012 (Tamil New Year). Earlier the film was scheduled for February 3 release but due to Producers Council new norms (which says that big films can be released only during five festival days), the released was then postponed.

All eyes are now on the Kolaveri song which created global impact on internet recently. The film will also be dubbed and released in Hindi. Debutant music director Anirudh's songs are already topping the charts.

Karthiga wedded secretly?

There are reports that Karthiga has wedded her relative secretly two months ago. Though the actress's mother maintains that only the engagement took place and the wedding is yet to happen, reports say otherwise.

Karthiga was seen in films like Thoothukudi and Raman Thediya Seethai. The actress did not strike it big in the film industry and her mother wanted her to settle down soon. Following this, Karthiga's mother found a suitable groom from among her relatives and arranged for the wedding, say sources.

Santhanam in love with Samantha!

Santhanam is in love with Samantha! Well, it is not in reality but in a film titled Naan E. This film, directed by SS Rajamouli, is being made in Telugu under the title Eega. Sources say that Nani, who plays the lead role in this film, is killed by the villain, and he is reborn as a fly and avenges his death.

Santhanam plays the comedian in this film. Sources say that he plays the role of a guy deeply in love with the leading lady Samanatha.

Maestro mesmerizes Gautham Menon and Thamarai

Director Gautham Menon has worked with Harris Jeyaraj for more than 11 years since their debut in Minnale. When Menon roped in ARR for his Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, he was more excited to reveal that he has accomplished a long time aspirations. However, this pitch increased when the Hindi version of VTV was just released (Ek Deewana Thaa). Menon was left in the lurch for his current film – a trilingual – with Jeeva and Samantha in the lead role, Neethane En Ponvasantham.

For this film Harris could not accommodate his scores since he had planned for an universal musical tour. Hence Gautham was at the peril of searching a right composer which landed him to the fingers of maestro Ilayaraja. This news became the talk of the tinsel town as Ilayaraja is more elusive to certain films. But Gautham Menon was fortunate to get the nod. Now the songs are on composition stage and the lyricist Thamarai is on the cabins of Ilayaraja. Normally Gautham spends more time on song composition and enjoys the recording.

In this case too he said he has now got the fullest satisfaction of working with such a genius. He said he had been a staunch fan of Ilayaraja right from his youth days and he was eagerly expecting an opportunity to work with him. Similar tone of praise came from Thamarai too when she said it has been an altogether different environment to work with the musical elite composer. It is true because Rajathi Rajathi Rajan Intha Raja, Eppovum Raja.

Udhayathara to get married to a pilot in April

Actress Udhayathara is all set to tie the nuptial know with an aviation pilot in April this year. The pretty actress has done a few films including Theenagar, Kannukullae, Malaiyan, Bayam Ariyaan, Kannum Kannum and Leelai in Tamil. The actress hails from Kerala and is one of the many actresses from Kerala who have had a successful career in films in languages other than her native Malayalam.

Though Udhayathara was expected to go up the ladder of the list of 'actresses with substance', she somehow fizzled out and couldn't carry forward the initial promise she showed in her early films. She has a couple of projects on hand in Tamil including Vettaiyadu and Brahmaputra.

The actress, who has also done many films in Malayalam, is all set to enter the matrimonial bliss. She is all set to marry aviation pilot Zubin Joseph who hails fromDubai. The grand engagement ceremony would be held in March in Kottayam in Kerala, which is Udhayathara's native place. The wedding is likely to take place within the next one month and might be held in April itself.

This appears to be the season of actresses getting married. Only recently, we heard that Ananya was getting married though her marriage has since run into some rough weather. Actress Sneha too announced some time back that she would soon be marrying actor Prasanna. Udhayathara is the latest to joint the list of actresses entering wedlock. Let's wish her in advance a happily married life!
