Amala Paul is Ram Charan’s heroine



She has hit big time with the runawaybilingual hit Kadhalil Soddhapavadhu Yeppadi (KSY) in Tamil and Love Failure in Telugu.

On Wednesday evening hit Telugu director VV Vinayak has signed her as heroine opposite the hot and happening young Telugu star Ram Charan Teja for his next untitled film!

VV Vinayak had initially said to have signed Kajal Aggarwal to do the film to recreate the Maghadheera magic.

But may be due to Kajal's tight schedule as she had other commitments they signed Amala her seeing her performance in Love Failure,which has been declared a super hit by the trade.

Breaking the news to sify.com from Hyderabad Amala said: "All that I can say is WOW, to be chosen as Ram Charan's heroine. Mynaa meets Maghadheera ".



Surya or Karthi in Mouna Guru’s next?

 

Studio Green has signed up director Shantha Kumar of Mouna Guru fame. The director's one liner for his next has impressed the production house that he is reported to be signed up. Since Studio Green's Gnanavel Raja is a close relative of the Siva Kumar family, there are expectations that either Suriya or Karthi may be signed up for this project.

Shantha Kumar's maiden venture Mouna Guru earned him a good reputation in Kollywood and the director is looking forward to team up with an established star.



Gopichand in suicide trouble ?


Telugu star Gopichand has landed himself in trouble. The star was to wed Haritha, an MBA from an Australian University on February 24th, but decided not to go ahead with the wedding following an information that Haritha is in love with someone else.

Gopichand called off the wedding after the invitations were distributed. This seems to have dismayed Haritha's father Ram Babu. He consumed poison at his residence yesterday and was admitted to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. Ram Babu is a popular businessman in Hyderabad and his suicide has put Gopichand in trouble.



Allari Naresh’s next to have graphics, huge sets

 

Imagine Allari Naresh in a socio-fantasy. Chanti Addala is producing one with Naresh and the film will have graphics and huge sets. "The normal practice is to discuss about the graphics after the shoot is over, but we are doing the sittings before going on the floors", the producer said.

Directed by Satthi Babu, the film stars Suman in a key role. Kota, Brahmanandam, Sayaji Shinde, MS, Dharmavarapu, Chalapathi Rao and Master Bharath (now looking unfleshed) play their parts. The regular shoot will begin from March 17.

Koti's music is a major highlight. The music sittings are currently on.

Amala Paul denies rift with Siddharth


Amala Paul is flying high. The reason is simple. She had three releases last week and all of them have won her appreciation. They are 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi', its Telugu version 'Love Failure' and 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal'.

"I am currently in Hyderabad to celebrate the success of Love Failure and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi. I am so happy to know that the film is doing well in both the languages," she says with a smile.

Denying reports appeared in a section of the media, which claimed that she had some misunderstandings with Siddharth while shooting for 'KSY', Amala says, "In fact, Siddharth is a good friend of mine and he helped me a lot on the sets."

She adds: "I am eager to work with Siddharth again if I get an opportunity." On Atharva, his 'Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal' hero, she says, "Atharva is a cool guy and he is very dedicated towards his work."



Jr. NTR-Sreenu Vaitla film titled Badshah?


Young Tiger Jr. NTR's proposed Sreenu Vaitla film has been reportedly titled Badshah. Earlier, 'Action' was considered for this flick, made by actor-producer Bandla Ganesh. An official announcement is awaited.

The regular shooting will start in the first week of April. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine. This is Jr. NTR-Kajal duo's second film together. They first paired together in Brindavanam. The film is touted to be a fun-filled action entertainer made in typical Seenu Vaitla's style. More details are awaited.



Prakash Raj joins hands with Mohanlal

 

A mega Malayalam movie is in the making, by bringing together two big actors of south Indian cinema- Mohanlal and Prakash Raj. The latter was in Cochin recently to sign the project and has confirmed this on his microblogging page.

"Finalized a film in Malayalam. Due for a long time. Mohanlal + Kaniha + Prakash Raj in director Renjith's "SPIRIT". Shoot in March. Cheerss!!!" That's something to cheer about, indeed!," Prakash Raj wrote.

Meanwhile, the actor-producer-director is happy with the media reviews for his maiden directorial venture in Tamil, 'Dhoni', which hit the screens a couple of weeks ago. "The media has been extremely supportive."

Sources close to Prakash Raj say that he would continue his avatar as a director, but without compromising his acting career. "Because it is only from acting he gets the financial muscle to produce and direct meaningful ventures."
