Tamil Movies sweep 59th National Awards

 

59th National Awards were announced today .Movies from Kollywood movies did exceptionally well this year too . Tamil Movies has bagged five national awards including that of Best Supporting Actor and Best Popular Film . Suseenthiran's Azhagarswamy Kuthirai was awarded the best popular film while Sarkunam's Vaagai Sooda Vaa has bagged Best Tamil Film Award.Critically acclaimed movie Aaranya Kaandam fetched best debut director award for Thiagarajan Kumararaja.

Best Tamil Film – Vaagai Sooda Vaa
