Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that ace Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu and the 'Ko' girls, Karthika and Piaa Bajpai will coming together for a flick! The movie is touted to be produced by Ilayathalapathy Vijay's home banner Ghilli Films.
The movie is a remake of Captain Vijaykanth's 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai', a 1981 super hit. Incidentally, the original was directed by Vijay's father, SA Chandrasekhar. This remake will be helmed by Ramesh. Meena has been approached to don a pivotal role in the film.
'Kumki' will mark the foray of Vikram Prabhu in Tamil cinema as an actor and the film by Prabhu Solomon will see a summer release. Meanwhile Karthika who received much critical acclaim for her performance in 'Ko' is busy with her Telugu project 'Dammu' with Junior NTR and Trisha and 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum'. Piaa Bajpai on the other hand is working on a promising Malayalam flick, 'Masters'.
An official announcement from Vijay's Ghilli Films listing the other cast and crew is expected shortly.
