Shriya to play sex worker?
Shriya Saran has been roped in for a meaty role in a Telugu film, in which she would play a commercial sex worker. "I liked the script and hence I am doing it," said the 'Sivaji' and 'Azhagia Tamizh Magan' actress reportedly.
When probed, sources said that a top Tollywood director approached Shriya with the role, and narrated to her the complete script. "The actress was thoroughly impressed with it and was fully convinced that the film would bring her honours," they say.
Meanwhile, Charmee too has been roped in to play one such role in one of her forthcoming movies. If sources are to be believed, the actress is going to do this character for director Chandu of 'Tenth Class' fame.
"This is a musical love story that deals with the relationship between a sex worker, a singer and a writer. Charmee`s character is a meaty one," the director was quoted as saying.
Remember Anushka played a sex worker in 'Vedam' and its Tamil version 'Vaanam', setting a trend in the recent times.
Is there a rift between Jeeva and his father R B Chowdary?
R B Chowdary is a popular producer who has created so many directors in the Tamil film industry. There is news that there is a difference of opinion between his son Jeeva and him. It is understood that Jeeva himself is taking care of his cinema matters.

Chowdary who wanted to cast his son Jeeva in the lead role in his film that he is producing as casted another hero. This is a Telugu film titled Raksha which has Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan in the lead role.
This film is also being remade in Tamil with the title Ragalai. It is understood that both of them parted ways because of this film. Jeeva is communicating any problems to his father through his mother. It seems that this silent war is going on for long time. Jeeva had the habit of listening to advice of his father in any matter. Now he has completely changed. Jeeva's friends Arya and Jayam Ravi are not in favour of this. They wanted both of them to compromise.When approached Chowdary regarding this, he said, "Now I am undergoing Kerala treatment. I am staying in my office for 40 days instead of going home since office is a better place than home for these kinds of treatments. Because of this some people feel that my son and I have been separated. Has he become such a big person to fight with me? He is always scared of me. Maybe because of this fear, it might seem that there is a rift between us.
Why I have not casted Jeeva in the Telugu film is because it is a high budgeted film which is being produced at the cost of Rs 40 Crores. Ram Charan has a very good market in Telugu. Jeeva has not grown up so much in his career. I will produce a film for him when he reaches that stage."
Jeeva has not commented about this matter. This is their family matter. We can poke our nose but can we say the result.

Ameer out of Bharathiraja’s film
Ace director Bharathiraja has very clearly mentioned that Ameer is not in his film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum. Moreover he has mentioned that there are some changes in the story and because of this Ameer cannot feature in this film. He has also added that Ameer will be a part of his next project.

There was news recently that Ameer was the main reason for the rift between the Producer s Council and FEFSI and that is the reason Bharathiraja has ousted out Ameer from his film but Bharathiraja has denied this news.
Earlier Parthiban was supposed to don the lead role in Annakodiyum and Kodiveeranum. Later on he was also out of this film. He was replaced by Ameer but now he is also out of this film. It is understood that Bharathiraja has planned to cast his son Manoj in this role.Karthika who had donned the female lead role in Ko and Iniya who had donned the female lead role in the film Vaagai Sooda Vaa are the two heroines of this film. Actress Roja is donning an important role in this film. The shooting of this film is taking place in and around Theni.
