Amala Paul opposite Mohanlal

 

Amala Paul is going strong. She is going gaga as two of her films are releasing this week-end – Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal and Kadhalil Sodappuvadhu Eppadi. Meanwhile in Malayalam she has been assigned to do a prominent role in a Mohanlal's film.

For the first time, Amala Paul will be paired opposite the superstar in a lead role. The untitled movie will be scripted by Sachi and Sethu.

The last time Joshi-Mohanlal team came together reaped two of the biggest hits at the box office, Christian Brothers and Twenty20.

வசந்தபாலன் இயக்கத்தில் மிகுந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கும் அரவான் படத்தில், இணை தயாரிப்பாளராக லிங்குசாமியும் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறார். அங்காடித்தெரு படத்திற்கு பிறகு டைரக்டர் வசந்தபாலன் இயக்கத்தில், ஆதி, பசுபதி, தன்ஷிகா, பரத், அஞ்சலி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடிப்பில் உருவாகியிருக்கும் படம் அரவான். 18ம் நூற்றாண்டை மையப்படுத்தி, காவல்கோட்டம் என்ற நாவலின் அடிப்படையில் உருவாகியிருக்கும் இப்படத்தை, மிகப்பெரும் பொருட்செலவில் அம்மா கிரியேசன்ஸ் சிவா தயாரித்து இருக்கிறார். பிரபல பாடகர் கார்த்திக், இப்படத்தின் மூலம் இசையமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமாகிறார். இப்படம் வருகிற மார்ச் மாதம் 2ம் தேதி முதல் உலகமெங்கும் ரிலீசாக இருக்கிறது.

இந்நிலையில், சமீபத்தில் திரையுலக நட்சத்திரங்கள், வி.ஐ.பி.க்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பலருக்கு இப்படம் பிரத்யேகமாக திரையிட்டு காண்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பலரும் படத்தை பார்த்துவிட்டு வசந்தபா‌லனை வெகுவாக பாராட்டியுள்ளனர். அதிலும் டைரக்டர் லிங்குசாமி ஒருபடி மேலே போய் இந்தபடத்தில், தன்னுடைய பங்கும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று கருதி, படத்தின் இணை தயாரிப்பாளராக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அம்மா கிரியேசன்ஸ் சிவாவிடம் விருப்பம் தெரிவித்து இருக்கிறார். அவரும் ஓ.கே. சொல்ல இப்போது அதற்கான வேலைகள் நடந்து வருகிறது. இனி அரவான் பட சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பேனரில் அம்மா கிரியேசன்ஸ் தயாரிப்புடன், இணை தயாரிப்பாக லிங்குசாமியின் திருப்பதி பிரதர்ஸ் பேனரும் இடம்பெற்று இருக்கும்.

No marriage before 5 years says Sonia Agarwal

 

For the once glamorous actress Sonia Agarwal, personal life had the rolling shutters as her marriage life with Selvaraghavan found the dig. After that for quite some years she hailed the TV channels for select programs and spent time. Later on an opportunity came to her for foraying a strong role in just released Oru Nadigayin Vakkumoolam. Now the film is out and is waiting for reviews and criticism.

This movie may give her a necessary break for her further career journey. Camping on the relief of the movie, Sonia spent some useful moments sharing the making of ONV and said she had a good experience with the unit and the director.

On a question over her future plans, especially marriage, Sonia said she has not made up her mind for that now. It would take another five years to materialize the event, she added. She added that the bad phase of her life has to eradicated from her memory once for all and then only she can think of such programs for life. A hope against hope indeed.

Gautham Menon goes the unique way!

 

Gautham Menon's Ek Deewana Tha has turned out as something very unique because the director has revealed that the film will be released with two very different climaxes. It may be recalled that Gautham Menon's Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya and Ye Maaya Chesave, the original Tamil and Telugu versions respectively had two different endings. In VTV, STR and Trisha part ways whereas in the Telugu version the lovers Naga Chaitanya and Samantha are united.

Both versions were successful so it was wondered what the ending will be in the Hindi version. Gautham has decided to go with a popular version and a director's cut which will be played in elite screens. Theatre listings will reveal which ending will be played and the ticket – buying audience can choose accordingly.

Asin to pair with King Khan?

 

Asin recently said that she would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan as she has already worked with the other two Khans in Bollywood -Aamir and Salman. It looks like her wish is about to come true as she is all set to sign on the dotted line for a film with King Khan himself.

The film will be based on the book – Two States: The Story of My Marriage by Chetan Bhagat. Sajid Nadiadwala is the producer and Vishal Bharadwaj is the director. In the book, the female protagonist is a Tamilian and Asin's Southern roots make her an apt choice. Besides she is very comfortable with the producer as she has worked with him earlier in Houseful and she is also in its sequel.

There was more noise when 'Ilaya thalapathi' actor Vijay made his entry during the performance of aalaap Raju. He won the best actor award for his performance in Velayudham. Sarah won the Best Child Actor award.for her performance in Deiva Thirumagal. She tried to mimic actor Vikram. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to playback singer L.R. Eswari. The awards were chosen based on online voting. A new television channel, World Tamil TV, was launched on the occasion.
