Tamil cinema's evergreen actress and comedian Manorama is on lifesupport system at the Appollo Speciality hospital in Chennai.

The 68 year old actress had fall after she slipped and fell down.

Aachi as she is popularly known is on ventilator support. Doctors diagnosis is of "sub-dual haemorrhage", a traumatic brain injury.

The actress will undergo surgery today (October 31).
