Rajni in Thirumalai

 

Super star Rajnikanth had gone to worship Ezhumalaiyan in Thirumalai temple yesterday. He was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya, Soundarya, son-in-laws actor Dhanush, Aswin and actor Mohan Babu.

Rajni was permitted to worship the presiding deity through a special entrance since he had undergone surgery. His family members were allowed through another entrance. After worshiping, he offered his sacrifice. He offered 85 kilos of sugar candy which was equivalent to his weight.

The temple authorities took him and his family members to the Ranganayagi Mandapam and offered him prasadams. After this he left the temple and returned to Chennai.

People gathered to catch a glimpse of Rajni. Because of this there was little tumult. But the police took care of this and Rajni was not disturbed.

Rajni answered the questions asked by the media who were waiting to see him.

What happened to Raana? When will the shooting commence?

It will take one or two months to commence the shooting. The reason for this is, Raana is a big film. It is high budgeted. This film is packed with action and drama. Costumes have to be designed. The pre-production work is going on. I think it will take two or three months. Most probably the shooting of the film will commence during the month of January.

Sir, can you give your views regarding your fans prayers?

I am very much grateful to them. I don't know how I will be thanking them. The media had been updating about their prayers for my speedy recovery. My heartfelt thanks to them and media.

You have acted with Shah Rukh Khan in Ra One?

Yes. I have acted for the sake of Shah Rukh Khan. I am very happy working in that. Nice experience.
