Comedian/filmmaker Chinne Jayanth was recently felicitated by Michigan Tamil Sangham for his outstanding contribution in the fields of arts and media.

The actor was in the USA recently, to perform his specialty one-man standup comedy and miming act, which was organised by the Tamil community of Michigan.

Speaking to DC, Chinne said, "It was a big honour and I am elated! So far, no other actor from Kollywood has been invited to perform and given this kind of award! I felt thrilled when I saw a huge turnout at the event despite the heavy snow."
