The maestro Ilayaraja is going to perform live on December 28 at Nehru stadium in Chennai.
The musical night "Endrendrum Raja" is being organised by Jaya TV .
A press meet was held by Ilayaraja and Jaya TV to announce the grand show. It will be the maestro's first public function after the demise of his wife.
A spokesperson for Jaya TV said: "There has been tremendous response to Raja sir's musical concert. The show promises to be exciting and interesting with a lot of surprises thrown in."
