Actress Pooja made her debut as heroine through the Tamil film Jay Jay. She continued to act in films like Attahasam, Ullam Ketkumae, Jithan and Pattiyal.

The last Tamil film she had acted was Naan Kadavul directed by Bala. She donned the role of a blind beggar girl and earned laurels for her wonderful acting. This film bagged lots of awards.

After this film, Pooja did not accept any Tamil f ilms. Now at this point of time, she is showing interest in Tamil films. She is making her re-entry through the Tamil film directed by Bala.

Adharva is donning the lead role while Pooja is donning an important role in this film. Apart from this she will also be pairing with Arulnidhi in a film to be produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri.
