Siddique says that people are troubling him for donations

 

Siddique is one of the leading directors in the Malayalam film industry. He has directed Tamil films like Vijay starrer Friends and Engal Anna. Recently he remade the Malayalam film Body Guard in Tamil with the title Kaavalan which had Vijay in the lead role.

Similarly he remade this film in Hindi with the title Body Guard. This film earned Rs 200 Crores. Because of this stupendous success, Siddique became the member of the elite Producers and Directors Council in Kerala. Siddique has mentioned that people are not even allowing him to sleep and are asking for donations because the Hindi film Body Guard has earned Rs 200 Crores.

He while speaking to the media said, "My duty comes to an end once I direct the film. All the profits that are yielded goes to the producer. People who do not understand this are constantly disturbing me.

The film Body Guard has been released in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages. The producers have earned a big profit. I have also got a good salary. It is very difficult to remake Malayalam films in other languages. But other language producers are compelling to direct a film for them. I will be shortly directing a film in Tamil and Hindi."
