Aascar Films are the ones who are producing high budgeted films as far as Tamil film industry is concerned. Aascar Ravichandran is currently producing very high budgeted films.

They are I directed by Shankar, Vallinam directed by Arivazhagan who had earlier directed Eeram, Boologam which has Trisha and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles and the film Mariyaan which has Dhanush in the lead role. This film is being directed by Bharatbala.

Talks are being held with a famous Hollywood actor to don the villain role in the film Boologam. Once the salary matters are settled they will bring him down to Chennai.The shooting of the films Vallinam and Mariyaan are in the final stages. The shooting of I and Boologam are going on.

At this juncture Aascar Ravichandran is producing a minimum budget film. This film is titled Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah. The film is to be directed by a person who was an assistant to actor Nasar.

After completing these films, Aascar Ravichandran has planned to produce high budgeted film which will has Kamal Haasan in the lead role and another film which will have Jackie Chan in the lead role.
